Biodiesel can be made from any kind of vegetable oil whether used to cook of fresh off the plant.   Biodiesel is most commonly made from soybean, rapeseed, palm, sunflower, safflower, jatropha, and mustard oil.  Hemp, castor oil, and algae are undergoing research to prove their abilities as fuel.  Who Would Want to Use Biodiesel?
Biodiesel is already common in many countries.  Biodiesel is 5% of all diesel fuel in France, Italy, and Germany.  Most countries in Europe are required to have at least 2% in their diesel.  Biodiesel is also used in the Philippines, Australia, and many other countries in Asia including China and Japan.
